Kitchener – The 5th Annual TD Canada Trust Inspiring Women event takes place September 15th at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener. Hosted by the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre, this one day conference will bring together over 50 Exhibitors and up to 600 professionals from the region and beyond to learn, grow and connect.
“We’ve put together a group of speakers who will offer concrete take away for our guests, whether they are working for organizations or are self employed”, states Chris Farrell, Manager of the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre. “Our speakers will speak to goal setting, work/life balance and taking leadership in our professional and personal lives.
This year’s speaker line up is all Canadian, featuring an impressive array of experience including Arlene Dickinson of CTV’s The Dragons’ Den, CEO Venture Communications, author of newly released book “Persuasion”, Olympian and author Silken Laumann, and local entrepreneur and Editor of internationally distributed Motivated magazine Shevaun Voisin. Bal Arneson, – host on the Food Network Canada and author of 3 cookbooks, Jody Steinhauer – CEO of The Bargains Group and Laura Robinson – co-inventor of the smash hit game Balderdash round out the exciting speaker roster.
Other special guests will be sharing their insights on professional empowerment in the exhibitor space, and include: local business leader Robin Todd of Marks Supply, Lois Raats of Ready2Grow, and Rhonda Reist of Help Me Rhonda Training and Consulting.
