PROJECT WATER 2017

Bargains Group is proud to have hosted Project Water 2017, an Engage & Change initiative!

This initiative was brought to life nearly 20 years ago when Jody Steinhauer, President and CBO (Chief Bargains Officer) of Bargains Group and founder of the Engage & Change charity, came to realize that more homeless people die on the street from dehydration each summer than from cold exposure in the winter.

Since that day, Project Water has helped provide over 2 million water bottles and 20,000 summer survival kits to over 170 homeless shelters and outreach programs in the GTA and surrounding area.

KITS FOR A CAUSE

Summer survival kits are just one type of kit that can be donated towards a cause, but many kinds of kits can be so meaningful to so many people.

With the expertise and help of Jody, and the experience our staff has gained volunteering at Project Water and other similar events, we have become experts at kit-packing events!
