Dan Kaal – Retro 80’s Bash For Cancer/Dad to Dads

“Hi Jody and Rob, I want to thank you for all your help with my Retro 80’s Bash for Cancer fundraising dance. I have participated in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer for the past 4 years. This year is a BIG one for me! When you participate 5 years in a row, Enbridge gives you a golden bicycle helmet as a thank you from them. This is also the 10th year Enbridge will be the title sponsor for the Ride. In order to participate in this Ride, which is the largest fundraiser for Cancer in Canada, you need to raise a minimum $2,500 in donations. So I host a Retro 80’s Bash for Cancer fundraising dance. I have a DJ, Light show, Photo booth as well as shuttle rides to drive people home(so there is no drinking and driving). I had a Sell out last year, and this year I Sold out the event in 5 weeks! I wanted something to commemorate this event and something people would remember, so I contacted Rob and enquired about t-shirts. I asked about neon colours and Rob sent me pictures of the colours I asked about, Neon Pink, Green and Blue. He sent the proofs of the artwork for the back and the artwork was great! I had the shirts made and they were delivered 10 days before my event was to take place. Everyone at the dance loved the shirts and bought them to take home with them as a memento of the night. I can’t thank Rob and his staff enough for all the help and hard work they did to make my night a Huge success! I will be contacting Rob again in the future for other events that I host for more items. Thank you so much for helping me. The event helped me raise over $4,700 that night and gives me a total of 419,260 in five years for my donation.”
