“It was really a pleasure working with you and The Bargains Group, and you helped turn a whim into a reality.  When Greg Rogers first asked me to see if I could secure in-kind donations of all those toiletry items to give as Xmas gifts to 200 of our residents, I thought “well, that’s not gonna happen.  A) it would take forever and b) I doubted very much whether any retailer or wholesaler was going to be that generous. I was pretty sure that I wouldn’t have much luck in getting any or all of those items on the list donated. That’s where you came in, and Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre succeeded in raising more than enough funds to purchase the items from The Bargains Group, at wholesale prices. And the rest, as they say, is history.

You really went that extra mile in trying to find all the items on our stocking stuffer list – you were even knocking yourself out on a Friday evening for us! –  and your prices were great, and very much appreciated by a non-profit where there usually isn’t much in the budget for anything beyond the basics, as you well know.   According to Greg, those Stocking Stuffers made a huge difference to the holiday season for our clients, who usually have very little else to look forward to,  particularly during these seemingly endless days of COVID.

So, thanks to you Lesley, and Jody and the entire staff of the Bargain’s Group. It was a real mitzvah you did for our residents.  Keep up the great work.”
